A low roar of jubilant conversation, clinking glasses, exuberant cheering, and whirling drills installing new paintings on the walls were the sounds that filled the Academy Art Museum during the Plein Air–Easton! Collectors’ Preview Party on July 19. The museum bustled as more than 220 people packed the exhibit galleries to see all the 116 paintings (two from each of 58 competition artists) in the competition exhibit, anxiously awaiting Competition Judge Don Demers’ announcement of which artists would take home more than $20,000 in awards.  Congratulations to all of the 9th Annual Plein Air-Easton! competition winners!
