Plein Air-Easton! 2013 Quick Draw The Next Generation Announced

Kids Take Art to the Streets for Plein Air–Easton! The Next Generation

On Sunday, July 21, Plein Air–Easton! Competition Judge Don Demers announced the winners in the Plein Air–Easton! The Next Generation Quick Draw during an exhibit and sale held on Harrison Street. A total of 36 young artists entered the competition after painting for three hours within a six-block area of downtown Easton. More than 30 youngsters participated in high-end art workshops presented on Harrison Street throughout the day. The event was sponsored by Attraction magazine. Honorable mention product awards were donated by Tom Lynch.

First Place, $200

Second Place, $100
Jamie Bronan, age 17, from Potomac, MD for "Mason's Umbrella"

Third Place, $50
Will Ridenhour, age 12, from Bowie, MD for "A Bird's Throne"

Claire Anovik, age 14, from Easton, MD for "Pottery Garden"
