Ann Tannous

Ann Tannous is an accomplished artist whose passion for painting began at a young age. Her journey into the world of oil painting began at the Art League in Houston, where she discovered her love for the medium. Since then, she has dedicated countless hours to honing her skills, focusing on landscapes, still life, and portraiture. A particular passion of hers is plein air painting, and she finds inspiration by the serene waters of the Potomac River, the scenic vistas of the Shenandoah National Park, and during her international travels.

Ann continues to refine her craft by attending classes at the Art League in Alexandria, where she remains committed to learning and growing as an artist. Her talents have earned her a place among some of the best plein air painters in the world, having recently competed in Plein Air Easton. Her work is occasionally showcased at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA, where she shares her unique perspective and skill with a wider audience.
