Sue Bredekamp

Sue Bredekamp has helped shape Plein Air Easton from the very beginning, bringing her expertise as a nationally recognized educator to one of the festival's most enduring legacies. She founded the Next Generation program, creating meaningful opportunities for young artists to experience plein air painting while continually refining the program into what it is today. Beyond youth education, Sue transformed festival headquarters into a welcoming, well-organized hub for visitors and volunteers, developing systems that made the festival easier to navigate and ensuring that its operations could grow sustainably year after year. Her vision, patience, and commitment have left a lasting imprint on nearly every corner of Plein Air Easton.
