Plein Air-Easton! 2013 Quick Draw All Ages Winners Announced

On Saturday, July 20, Plein Air–Easton! Competition Judge Don Demers announced the winners in the Plein Air–Easton! Quick Draw Competition during an exhibit and sale held on Harrison Street. More than 200 artists entered the competition after painting for only two hours within a six-block area of downtown Easton. The following awards were presented:

First Place, $1,500
Paul Bachem from Locust Valley, NY for "Red, White & Blue"

Second Place, $750
Ned Mueller from Renton, WA for "The Artist"

Third Place, $500
Ken DeWaard from Chicago, IL for "Subtle Beauty"

Easton Studio & School Award (Best Non-Competition Artist), $300
Jeremy Joseph from Easton, MD for "Blue Crab"

Honorable Mentions, $100:

Jason Tako from Dover, PA for "Orange Umbrella"

David Csont from Pittsburgh, PA for "Bullitt Window"

Cindy Baron from East Greenwich, RI for "Through the Trees"
